ABOUT THIS GUIDE

Rebecca Yarros’s Dragonkind game

Verify the author connection and creative credits, choose the official game or an independent tool, and understand how this guide handles your notes.

Is Dragonkind the Rebecca Yarros game?

Yes: the author’s own website links directly to dragonkind.com, and the game’s public attribution credits Rebecca Yarros for the story. Those are the identity checks behind our official-entry link.

You can repeat the check yourself. Open the author website, follow its Dragonkind link, and compare the destination with the address below. On the game’s entry page, open Attribution to inspect the creative credits.

Affiliation and scope

This is an unofficial fan guide. It is not operated, endorsed, or supported by Rebecca Yarros, Yarros Ink, Dragonkind, or their publishers. It cannot provide official account support, rewards, game access, or dragon outcomes.

Editorial responsibility

This guide was drafted with AI assistance and checked against the listed public sources. It does not claim a player study, hands-on account testing or official endorsement. Its original SVG illustration is decorative, not a screenshot or official game artwork.

Sources and review dates are available in the source center. We distinguish official evidence, practical guidance and unknowns. This release has no submission form or monitored support inbox. Corrections must be reviewed by the project’s maintainer before a content update.

Privacy and storage

With your permission, Google Analytics 4 / Plausible measures public page visits and feature clicks. Measurements use page paths and fixed event names, excluding query strings, fragments, search text, notes and dragon records. Private record tools do not load analytics. Change your choice in the footer. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies.

Search text is not uploaded. “Copy answer selection” includes only public answer identifiers. It excludes search text, timer times, saved reading, checklist progress and attempt notes. You can review the exact link before copying it manually if automatic copying fails. A local preview link works only on this computer; public sharing needs an approved hosted address.

Checklist marks stay in this page by default. Optional browser saving uses dragonkind-guide.checklist.v1 and contains only a version number, the chosen issue and public step IDs. Turning it off removes the saved copy when storage is available. Preparing a checklist note creates local text and does not upload it.

The timer uses browser storage only when you select “Remember on this browser.” It saves a version number and start/end timestamps under dragonkind-guide.timer.v1. Cancelling or selecting “Remove saved timer” removes that saved record. The timer still works in the open page if browser storage is unavailable.

Analytics scripts are not loaded when you decline visit statistics. Browser storage is not encrypted storage; anyone with access to the same browser profile may see or change its saved timer. No account information belongs in this tool.

Saved reading and language switching

Choosing “Save for later” stores only public item identifiers under dragonkind-guide.notebook.v1. Saved reading is shared between English and Simplified Chinese on the same browser. You can remove individual items, clear the notebook, or export the public titles and links. It contains no account or game history.

When you switch language, this tab temporarily uses dragonkind-guide.transfer.v1 in session storage to carry the current search, checklist, timer, reading sections or attempt notes and draft. The receiving page consumes it once; transfers expire after five minutes and disappear when the tab session ends. If storage is blocked, we explain that the task cannot be carried and offer a switch without it.

Clearing saved reading does not cancel a timer. Use the timer’s own clear control for that. Export is a local file you choose to download; no file is uploaded or automatically shared.

Your attempt notes

The reading preference uses dragonkind-guide.spoilers.v1 in this tab’s session storage only when you change it. The home demonstration uses memory only. JSON backup import reads a local file and replaces page notes only after confirmation; restoring turns saving off and leaves the older saved copy untouched. Selected printing includes only the records you choose.

Attempt notes contain only the date, outcome label and short summary you enter. They stay in the open page unless you explicitly enable browser saving under dragonkind-guide.attempts.v1. They are not encrypted. Do not enter account information, secrets or copied story passages; the credential check can miss some secrets.

Saved notes are shared across languages on the same browser. You can edit or remove a note, turn saving off to remove its saved copy, or confirm clearing all attempt notes. Changing language temporarily carries notes and the draft in this tab for up to five minutes. Changing or clearing attempt notes does not change saved reading or the timer.

The export preview contains your chosen summaries and may include spoilers. Copy and download act only on that preview after your click. No note is published, uploaded, put in an answer-sharing link or sent to the official game.
